Dear Siblings in Christ,

It's the final weekend of Epiphany Light that we will keep in our hearts as we move into the Season of Lent, beginning Ash Wednesday, March 5.  This year, let us Lean Into Lent ...  That 40-day period leading to Easter that is marked with fasting and prayer. It's a period for repentance; it's also a season for reflection on our hearts and practices in light of the Holy Scriptures and Jesus' life of sacrifice and suffering.

We can Lean into Lent through several weekly offerings at St Alban's, beginning with Ash Wednesday service at Noon, or Ashes to Go in your car at the parking lot, 4:30-5:30, and other weekly offerings. Additionally, the Episcopal Church has created a Lenten Calendar for families and individuals (shown by me and Jamie above!) to help us follow the 40-day Journey at home. One is available per family/individual. Ask an usher Sunday.
