St. Alban’s Altar Guild
Join the team that prepares our sacred spaces for worship. Altar Guild members care for the sanctuary, vestments, and communion elements that enhance our services. This behind-the-scenes ministry offers a meaningful way to serve with reverence and attention to detail. Your hands help create the sacred environment where our community gathers each week. No prior experience needed.
Eucharistic Visitors
Extend our communion table beyond church walls by bringing the sacrament to homebound members. This rewarding ministry creates meaningful connections with those unable to attend services due to illness or limited mobility. You help ensure everyone remains connected to our church family through brief visits and sharing the Eucharist. Training is provided for this special ministry of presence and care.
Acolytes
Help lead our congregation in worship as part of the altar party! Acolytes carrythe cross and torches in procession, assist with communion, and support the Gospel reading. This ministry welcomes both youth and adults who want to participate more actively in our services. Training is provided as you learn this important worship role that helps create our sacred atmosphere during services.
In addition to these, you can serve through our Prayer Chain, Prayer Shawl ministry, flower delivery to homebound members, or memorial receptions. During worship, participate as an usher, chalice bearer, lector, or by offering Unction prayer. Each role provides a meaningful way to care for our church family.
