Music & Worship Arts

Music shapes our worship at St. Alban's — from the rare Fritts organ at the heart of our sanctuary to the voices and bells of our choirs.

The Fritts Organ

At the heart of St. Alban's worship stands our extraordinary Fritts Organ—a rare masterpiece with fewer than two dozen like it worldwide.

 illuminating the sacred

Meticulously handcrafted by master artisan Paul Fritts using centuries-old techniques, this instrument produces transcendent sounds that lift our prayers heavenward.

Set within our Spanish-style sanctuary with mountain views, the organ's rich voice opens hearts to God's presence in ways words cannot. Many worshippers describe feeling closer to the divine as its tones fill the space—the music becoming a pathway to deeper communion with Christ. Through every chord and melody, this remarkable instrument serves as both a beautiful offering to God and a powerful reminder of how artistic excellence can illuminate the sacred.

Parish Choir

The St. Alban's Parish Choir enriches our worship through beautiful anthems and passionate musical leadership. These dedicated volunteers from our congregation bring sacred music to life every Sunday from late August through early June, as well as during special liturgical celebrations throughout the year. Their voices guide our communal worship while fostering fellowship among those who share a love of sacred music. New singers are always welcome!

Young People's Choir

Our Young People's Choir brings together singers from first grade through middle school, with no previous musical experience needed. These talented young musicians add energy and joy to our worship, especially during their spotlight performances on Christmas Eve and the Sunday following Easter. The choir develops musical skills while creating friendships across age groups. All students are welcome to join this fun and rewarding musical community!

All-Ages Handbell Choir

St. Alban's celebrates the art of handbell ringing with two dedicated ensembles. Our Adult Handbell Choir enhances worship with monthly performances during Sunday services, while our Youth Handbell Choir performs as they develop their skills. These intergenerational groups welcome ringers of all experience levels, creating beautiful music through teamwork and coordination. The distinctive sound of handbells adds a special dimension to our worship experience. New ringers are welcome in both groups!
