Whether we are thinking about how we experience God in Nature or evaluating our beliefs through the lens of Dualistic and Non-Dualistic thinking, learning about the life and ministry of St. Francis of Assisi or reflecting on the complexities of Forgiveness, the topics are diverse.

In our weekly gatherings, we view illuminating presentations or videos, followed with inward reflection, then discussions that center around our own experiences. Sharing our Spiritual Journeys happens in an atmosphere of respect and diversity. We grow together as a community looking to deepen our relationship with God and practice growing in our love, following the ways of Jesus.

There are two choices for group times and we meet every Thursday from September through May, either at 10:00-11:45am or 2:00-3:45pm. If you are interested in participating, please contact Jim at chilehouse@mac.com for more information.

Reading with the Rector

Father Richard Mallory, our Interim Rector, has led several book studies in the last year. Among them have been Breathing Under Water (Rohr), The Grace in Aging (Singh), and our current study is Falling Upward (Rohr). Additionally, we offered a book study of Freeing Jesus by Diana Butler Bass prior to her St Alban’s community outreach weekend in February, 2024.

The next book we will begin discussing in July, 2024, is Radical Forgiveness by Brian Zahnd. This group meets on Tuesday afternoons from 2:00-3:30 and everyone is welcome.
