Annual Meeting & New Vestry Members 2021
What we are doing during the Pandemic

The first need we found was helping feed those in need. We found the best way to help was to set up a donation site at the church and then make weekly deliveries to Interfaith Community Services.

We kept our preschool class rooms open for the children of working parents.

We went online with the "Pajama Service". The Diocese decreed there would be no gatherings of more than 10 people, masked and separated by 6 feet. Thus, our priest inaugurated the drive-thru Communion after the live-streamed service.

Some parishioners starting meeting after the drive-thru Communion and out of that sprang a book exchange.

And then! The Bishop opened us up to 50 people with masks and 6 feet of separation. That meant we could have 50 people in the nave and 50 people in the Parish Hall. But, there is still no choir.
The FaceBook service and the drive-thru communion continued for the cautious.

The Prayer Shawl Committee ladies have been very busy over the past year knitting, crocheting and quilting over 100 prayer shawls and lap robes plus pocket crosses to be distributed to anyone in need.

Men's and Women's bible studies started up again along with Cursillo and Reading with the Rector.

We had a new tower installed and even though you could never tell, it's a cell tower. The tower has been erected on the Savino Canyon Rd. side of the church.
