EPISCOPAL 101 STARTS SEPTEMBER 11
Fr. Bruce will offer an eight-week course in Episcopal faith and practice on Sunday mornings at 9:00 beginning September 11. “Episcopal 101” will cover the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, church history and teaching, and more. It’s an ideal opportunity to learn about all things Episcopalian! Consider taking part if you wish to be confirmed or received into membership, or if you simply want to know more about the church. If you’re interested, please speak with Fr. Bruce or send him an email.

Reading with the Rector
NEW SERIES BEGINS SEPTEMBER 13
Reading with the Rector will begin a new series on Tuesday, September 13, at 1:00 in Room 10. We will read two chapters of The Meaning of Jesus by Marcus Borg and N.T. Wright. The chapters are all short, but the discussion is expected to be lively. We should finish the book by November 1.

Women's Bible Study
St. Alban’s Episcopal Church Tucson has a lively Women’s Bible Study group meeting on Mondays from 9:30 to 11:30 in the church library during the school year. Co-facilitated by Linda Owaski and Barbara Toohey, the group works together to study and apply the timeless truths of scripture to their daily lives.

Men's Bible Fellowship
Men are invited to bring a lunch and a Bible to the church library, Fridays at 12:00 noon. The guys generally choose a book of the Bible to study over a period of several weeks. Topics have included the Gospel of Mark, the Book of Revelation, and the Letter to the Hebrews.

Cursillo
A very popular three-day weekend encounter focuses on active renewal of our Baptismal commitment, personal spiritual development and training to become more effective Christian leaders. After attending the event participants form “The Fourth Day” reunion groups who meet regularly to share and grow in their Christian faith.

Lenten Studies / Confirmation
Classes include Episcopal 101 (introduction to the Episcopal Church). Confirmation preparation for ages 16-adult is held Wednesday nights during Lent. There are also studies conducted on a variety of devotional topics.
